A) Our administration heard dire warnings from the CIA that Al Qaida was in the advanced phases of planning a huge attack two months before 9/11 and didn't do anything about it.
B) Congressional leaders knew that a congressman has been having cybersex with teenage pages for the last 5 years and didn't do anything about it.

Well it is obvious to me that Lies really deserve to be on the list of worst ethical transgressions in the context of Leadership and the power to influence.
Words loose their power when they are misused & abused just like the Beauty of Mozart is diminished by a cell phone ring. If they can disempower words themselves , the leverage of reason is undercut.
